CODE OF CONDUCT & FACILITY RULES
At DoggyLand, the safety, wellbeing, and happiness of all dogs, clients, and staff is our top priority. By entering our facility or using our services, all clients agree to comply with the following rules and standards of conduct.
1. GENERAL EXPECTATIONS
All clients must treat staff, other clients, and all dogs with respect and courtesy at all times.
Aggressive, abusive, threatening, or disruptive behavior will not be tolerated.
DoggyLand reserves the right to refuse or discontinue service at any time to protect safety, wellbeing, or operational integrity.
2. DOG HEALTH & SAFETY REQUIREMENTS
All dogs must meet DoggyLand’s vaccination and health requirements prior to participation in daycare, boarding, grooming, or special events.
Dogs showing signs of illness, injury, parasites, or contagious conditions may be refused entry or isolated for safety.
Owners must disclose any known medical conditions, behavioral concerns, or bite history at intake and update DoggyLand promptly if changes occur.
Failure to disclose relevant information may result in immediate removal from services.
3. BEHAVIOR & TEMPERAMENT
Dogs must be non-aggressive and manageable in a group or staff-handled environment.
Excessive aggression, repeated unsafe behavior, or inability to safely integrate may result in temporary suspension or permanent dismissal from DoggyLand services.
DoggyLand uses positive handling and supervision, but dogs participate at their own risk.
4. LEASH, ENTRY & EXIT RULES
Dogs must be leashed upon arrival and departure unless otherwise directed by staff.
Only authorized staff may open gates, doors, kennels, or play areas.
Clients are not permitted in restricted staff-only areas.
5. DROP-OFF & PICK-UP POLICIES
Drop-off and pick-up must occur during scheduled business hours unless otherwise arranged.
Late pick-ups may be subject to additional fees.
Only individuals listed as authorized contacts may pick up a dog.
6. CLIENT CONDUCT IN FACILITY
Children must be supervised at all times.
No running, shouting, or disruptive behavior within the facility.
No outside food, treats, or toys unless approved by staff.
Photography or video recording is not permitted without staff consent.
7. SAFETY INCIDENTS & EMERGENCIES
In the event of injury, illness, or emergency, DoggyLand will act in the best interest of the dog and facility safety, including contacting a veterinarian or emergency services as needed.
Clients authorize DoggyLand to seek veterinary care if the owner cannot be reached.
All incidents will be documented according to DoggyLand policies.
8. PAYMENT, FEES & SERVICE TERMINATION
Payment is required in accordance with posted pricing and service agreements.
DoggyLand reserves the right to terminate services immediately for non-payment, repeated policy violations, or safety concerns.
No refunds will be issued for early termination due to rule violations or unsafe conduct.
9. ZERO-TOLERANCE POLICY
DoggyLand maintains a zero-tolerance policy for:
Aggression toward staff or other clients
Threatening or abusive language
Disregard for safety instructions
Harassment of any kind
Violations may result in immediate removal from the premises and permanent ban.
10. ACKNOWLEDGMENT
By using DoggyLand services, clients acknowledge that:
Dogs are animals and unpredictable behavior can occur
Participation is voluntary and at the owner’s risk
DoggyLand is not responsible for pre-existing conditions or undisclosed risks
